URBAN WILDERNESS
Art Night Party, May 2018
Phillips Auction House, London
Commissioned by Art Night London

Urban Wilderness is an immersive installation for the senses: an imagined edible forest, bringing together hidden flavours of the city and making use of delicately flavoured flowers and weeds, which grow naturally around London. Often going unnoticed, these plants stand their ground amongst the flow of the Anthropocene, hinting at the endless possibilities of the urban landscape. Urban Wilderness proposes a re-discovery of the city’s plant life, seeing the urban space as a source of surprising new flavours and experiences.
